week 2. Eflective Journal Writing in the Practicum Course

My opinion
The reading says: “Through journal writing, student teachers see the value of developing their awareness of classroom processes, which enables them to make conscious and informed decisions in relation to their own teaching”.
I haven’t thought in the importance of writing a blog as a journal but I think it’s a different and effective way to transmit our feelings, awareness, and areas we are struggling with. As the reading says through each entry we’ll have the opportunity to receive feedback from the instructor and from our classmates, we can share experiences either positive or negative by which all of us can learn. It’s a nice tool to exchange ideas, to help each other and to see how we overcome problems, or the improvement we had at the end of the course.

  1. Very interesting when you mention “through each entry we’ll have the opportunity to receive feedback from the instructor”, this is true, because the feedback from a person who has more experience that us will always well received, and is something that will help us to improve our knowledge. Also, share our experiences is something that will help us to manage our difficulties faced in a classroom.

  2. I also think that blog spots are very interesting and very useful, sharing experiences and ideas is the main point on a blog.
I also agree that in a course like this will help in the sense of communication and sharing time outside the class.
Now, from my personal point of view, all good or bad comments people can give us through this mean of communication, it is something we can analyze and take the productive part of it. Because this can also be a double edge knife. I am not saying in this course but in our public life.
